Mollie Gynn – the cozy mystery pen name of Patti Brown – grew up by the ocean in Rhode Island, dreaming of solving mysteries with Lord Peter Wimsey and Miss Marple.

With that childhood, it made perfect sense for Mollie and her husband to move to rural Texas to homestead, fully equipped for the ranching life with small children and a U-Haul of books. Shenanigans ensued! The child-rearing years were a chaotic mix of homeschooling, farm animals, musical theater, and amused stares from the locals. And of course books… and books… and more books.

The birdies have flown the nest, and Mollie now solves mysteries with insomniac baker Jane Merriweather and her friends in the Primrose Tea Shoppe Cozy Mystery series. Mollie lives in Texas with her husband and more tea, yarn, and books than one person could possibly use… but she’ll still try!
